Every season we take on 1 or 2 volunteers to be part of the Parahawking team.
The new season is fast approaching and we're keen to find this years new recruits.

Title - Parahawking volunteer
This is a very rewarding but demanding position. The day to day duties vary greatly from cleaning aviaries (boring but has to be done) to all bird training activities, plus paragliding (tandem of course unless you are already a pilot) rehabilitation work, public demonstations, assisting with falconry lessons etc etc. Each day will present new and exciting challenges from manning new birds around paragliders to fitting special camera equipment to our birds.
This really is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the world renowned Parahawking team.
This years requirements:
We are looking for a falconer preferably, or someone with bird handling experience, you will need to have reasonable level of physical fitness as things can get physically demanding at times (lots of running up and down hills). This is a great chance to broaden your mind with regards to training birds and will suit an open minded, motivated team player who would like to live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world and be part of something truly unique. You will need to be able to drive. Anything you don't know, we will teach you.

As this is a non paid position you must be self sufficient. You will need to over the cost of the the flights to and from Nepal, we will arrange for your internal transportation and contribute to your accomodation costs.
You will need to be available from the 1st October 2008, the season normally goes on until the end of March.
